Fresh Farmacy

     Fresh Farmacy is a facial soap in a bar form. You lather it up in your hands and apply to a wet face. Massage it around and then rinse off. When you first dry your face it feels almost waxy with residue. It then sinks into your skin making it very soft and calmed . This cleanser is very drying which I think is meant to dry out blemishes. Fresh Farmacy calms your skin and soothes blemishes very well at first but then it dried my entire face out... I might recommend this product to anyone with VERY oily skin, but I don't like it enough to recommend. I want to mention that this is to clean your skin, not remove makeup. I would use a heavy moisturizer after using this product. Although it claims to be moisturizing, it sucked the life out of my face...I was so dry my face started flaking. I used this product for a week and a half before I had to stop.

I am rating Fresh Farmacy 1/5 stars. It is decently priced and I like the concept, but everything else backfired for me. Thank you for reading this review and I hope it helped. 5 Ways to Wear...Eyeshadow Duos

     Welcome to my new series! I'm going to show you five ways to wear different things. Let me know what you want to see next!

     There are so many looks you can make out of 2 eyeshadows! All you need is one light color and one medium to dark color. My favorite duo to use is the Hard Candy Baked Eyeshadow Duo in the color 057 "Peace".

     1. For the first look I packed the light shade on the inner 2/3 of the eye and lightly placed the light color on the browbone. I then took the darker color and packed it on the outer 1/3 of my eye. With the Hard Candy duo, the colors blend together incredibly easy and this look is easiest to do with your fingers. 

2. This look is the most common and ordinary but still beautiful. I put the light color on the lid and put the dark color in the crease with a small fluffy crease brush. I clean the brush then use it to put the light color on the browbone and blend the crease color.

3. Place the light color on the entire eyelid. Get a smudge or angled brush and place the dark color on you outer upper and lower lash lines.

4. Place the dark color on the entire eyelid and pull it into the crease. Place this color on the outer half of your lower lash line as well. Then take the light shade on your inner corner and inner half of your lower lash line. Also highlight your browbone with the lighter shade.  And to finish, place the dark shade in your water line.

5. Start with 2 angled brushes or something to clean your brush in between uses. Take the dark shade and place it on your outer half of your top lash line. Then take the light shade and do the same thing on the inner half of the lash line. Keep repeating these steps until you get a blended, ombré effect eyeliner look. You may want to use black to intensify the ombré. It would also look cool to do the same thing but just above eyeliner. Lightly put the dark shade through the crease and then make your inner corner highlight intense with the light shade.

Summer Makeup Look

     This is my favorite makeup to wear in the summer. I wear this look anytime I'm out with friends. It has become one of my favorites because it is easy, colorful, and fast to do. Not to mention pretty waterproof! It goes a little something like this...

1. I apply a bb cream or tinted moisturizer with SPF in it.

2. Apply a light warm pink blush. I personally like Benefit Hervana.

3. Then apply the "Maybelline dream matte powder" all over your face.

4. Prime your eyes with your favorite eye primer or base.

5. Take Mac's eyeshadow in All That Glitters and put it across your entire lid. Then apply the same color to the  inner half to 2/3 of your lower lash line.

6. Smudge and smoke out Mac's Steamy to the outer half of your upper lash line. Also place the color on the outer half to 1/3 of your lower lash line.

7. Take any creamy, matte, color and use it to highlight your brow bone and inner corner. (You can use all that glitters in the inner corner if you would like)

8. Apply Covergirl Volume Waterproof however you like.

9. Take lavender, purple, shimmery, lipgloss. I like Mac's Perky lipglass from the "Taste Temptation" collection or the Revlon Lip Butter in Sugar Frosting. Apply this and you are done!

American Cream Hair Conditioner

     American Cream claims to be a medium strength hair conditioner. I would suggest people with fine or thin hair to use this because it is actually very light. If you have thick or unruly hair, don't  waste your time on this product. Let me say though, that my hair has never smelled SO GOOD! It smells like vanilla cream with a hint of strawberry. As a conditioner it does not work that well for me, but like I said, my hair smells incredible! I think I will purchase this in a small bottle and use it when I want some good smelling locks and use another conditioner underneath. As a conditioner this product really stinks but as a hair perfume, 5/5 baby!

I Love Juicy Shampoo

     I Love Juicy is a fruit filled clarifying shampoo. The acid in the fruit juices are used to absorb extra oil your scalp produces. Because it is mostly natural, it doesn't dry out your hair like clarifying shampoos with chemicals that strip your hair. If you are looking for a shampoo to get rid of leftover product in your hair I would recommend the "Suave naturals daily clarifying shampoo" not this. I Love Juicy controls oil in your hair not buildup. It also made my hair incredibly soft! It smells like fruity pineapple and peaches. If you have ever had the "smiles" gummy chewy snack thingies for little kids, this shampoo smells a lot like those! I also notice some volume added to my hair from using I Love Juicy. It made my hair feel very clean but not dry at all. This is an incredible shampoo but very expensive too. It ranges from about 2-3 dollars per ounce which is crazy. I think that this is an item worth splurging on if you love it though. I am giving I Love Juicy 4/5 stars because it is crazy expensive but still an incredible product. Benefit They're Real Mascara

     Benefit They're Real mascara has become very popular and for good reasons. It is very black without looking overdone and doesn't clump. It separates incredibly, lengthens, and gives great volume. I think that this mascara would work for everyone! When you build it up it gives the false lash effect.   It is resistant to humidity/heat and doesn't smudge easily. It stays on for a long time but I would suggest re-applying. Even though it is long wearing, it isn't too hard to remove either. The picture below is with 2 thin coats. I think this is a great high end product so I am rating it 5/5 stars

Vanilla Dee-lite Body Lotion

     Vanilla dee lite is a lightweight body lotion. It smells like something very sweet. It is a little sickening if you ae easily irritated by scents. The scent lingers on your skin so make sure that you like it! It makes your hands/body feel incredibly soft and smooth. I would say it has more softening qualities than moisturizing.  This is a really great lotion. When and after you put it on, your skin feels very nourished. This product is $27.95 for a 8.8 ounces (250 grams.) Although this product is expensive it i s good to treat your skin sometimes. I am rating Vanilla dee-lite 4/5 stars because the price is a little bit ridiculous. I hope you enjoy this review and have a great day. Please leave me requests and I will try to do them ASAP:)

Sweetie Pie Shower Jelly

     Sweetie Pie shower jelly is very interesting. A soap in the form of jell-o??? A wierd concept makes a great product though! Lush has a habit of doing that! If you break off a very small piece of "soap" and crush it into a loofa, it makes an incredible lather. The lather is very foamy and moisturizing. Sweetie Pie makes you feel very clean but not dry at all. My skin felt soft and smooth afterwards. Its scent of sugared grapes and berries lingers on yours skin the slightest bit. In the pot of jelly there are blue flecks of glitter but they do not stick on to you. A small pot of Sweetie Pie (3.5oz) retails for $6.95 and a big pot (8.5oz) retails for $11.95. It is a very good price for a Lush product, and a great deal because you need such little product. I am giving Sweetie Pie shower jelly 5/5 stars!!!

The Lush Cosmetics Store Experience

     The Lush store experience is like no other. When you first walk into the store it is extremely overwhelming!!! A person who works at the store will come and ask you if you want help with anything. Don't be afraid to say "yes" because they are a big help! The worker may show you some demonstrations or give you a hand treatment. I have been to 5 different Lush stores and here are some things you should know:

1. The workers are the sweetest,nicest people. They are always so pleasant and happy to help you. 

2. It is always very clean and organized.

3. It always smells incredible but strong so be careful if you are sensitive to that!

4. Don't be afraid to ask for samples. They are more than happy to get it for you!

5. There is no such thing as "Just a quick trip to Lush." Although the workers are very nice, they do talk and talk and talk. If you need to be fast make sure you tell them that. To help the trip go faster, have a list with you. I always forget what I need/want once I am in the store because I get so distracted!

6. Don't feel like you should get a bigger size of something because it isn't on the counter. Ask if they have more product in the back. Don't be afraid to ask for a smaller/bigger slice of soap either!

     Lush is extremely overwhelming at first so do not judge it too fast. Once you become comfortable and relaxed you will love it! I love Lush so much and I highly suggest going into the store. It is so much fun and is like your nose is going to an amusement park!
