Celebrate Lotion!
Celebrate hand and body lotion smells exactly like yellow starbursts! It leaves your skin incredibly soft, smooth, and feeling new! In order to get these results you have to put up with a greasy film for a few minutes. Although it's a pain, it penetrates deep down into your skin and doesn't give just a surface result. I also love the consistency of Celebrate! It is thick and very moisturizing but also has a whipped texture too! I love the whipped aspect because a little bit of product goes a long way and you still get rich moisturization. I am giving Celebrate 4/5 stars because the greasy residue is a pain in the neck! Everything else is spot on perfect and worth it though!
Snowcake Soap!
Snowcake soap is super moisturizing, creamy, and buttery! Not to be confused with oily though! This soap is moisturizing but doesn't leave any residue whatsoever. Snowcake is very sensitive and is great for young young kids or people with generally sensitive skin. It's funny because it smells like almonds and baby body wash! I am unsure of what marzipan smells like but Snowcake is supposed to smell like marzipan and almond oil. Over all I am giving Snowcake soap 3.5/5 stars. I love the texture but the scent isn't very good and it is rather expensive. It does have the cuteness factor working in its favor though! It comes with a golden lustre on the surface of the soap!
Check back in an hour for a new review!!! Ahhh! The craziness!
Dr. Peppermint Shampoo Bar!!!
Dr. Peppermint shampoo bar smells like sweet peppermint but not as sweet as a candy cane. I haven't used Dr. Peppermint enough to give a thorough review, but judging by first impressions I love it! It doesn't tingle your scalp but the smell is very strong and invigorating. Dr. Peppermint cleans your hair easily by lathering and having a lot of foam with only a little bit of product. It leaves your hair feeling new and fresh. This would be a wonderful shampoo to use daily because it doesn't strip your hair. It would also be great to use every few days because it cleans your hair thoroughly. Overall I am giving Dr. Peppermint 5 stars because it is very versatile and is also great for men. The scent is probably the best thing ever and my favorite holiday product! I really recommend buying this before it leaves us on the 26th of December. It is also a retro item so keep that in mind! Happy Holidays Everyone!
Cinders Bath Bomb!
Cinders bath bomb smells like walking into a room full of spicy holiday cookies! Your skin becomes slightly fragranced but nothing to dramatic. The bath is very softening because of the almond oil Cinders contains. I was very excited when I plopped Cinders into the bath and heard pop pop pop! Many people say that there bath bomb didn't crackle like a fire the way it should, so I was super happy when it did! You may wonder why Cinders makes a crackling sound. Lush was very festive and threw vegan pop rocks all throughout the bath bomb to sound like a wonderful fire!
Although the sound element is unique and an impressive addition to a bathbomb Cinders lacked in other areas. It turned the water a light and transparent yellow...a red or orange color fits the occasion better I think (representing a fire and all.) There wasn't any visual display during the fizzing and popping or after. Cinders also generally lacked in luxury. I definitely didn't think that a bath with Cinders in it is worth 5 dollars.
I really don't like to be a downer especially on Lush. I just didn't love Cinders so I am giving it 2/5 stars. The scent is good and the popping candy is a brilliant idea!
What do you think about Cinders? I'm very interested in your opinions! Please comment on my Instagram @thelushlifexo and share your thoughts:) Also please watch my latest video on YouTube for a Lush Haul!!! You can leave recommendations to see the reviews you want first! Have a great day everyone! And remember -no act of kindness was ever wasted-
Twilight Shower Gel!!!
Twilight shower gel smells exactly like Twilight and the Luxury Lush Pud bath bombs. It is colored a deep and enchanting purple with silver shimmer. Unfortunately the shimmer settles to the bottom of the bottle and is pretty much nonexistent while you use the shower gel.
Twilight lathers up wonderfully on a loofa and is smooth and fluffy! The after effects are pretty average of a normal shower gel except your skin isn't stripped. If you use Twilight in your hair it is not moisturizing whatsoever. At first I wasn't all that impressed but once your hair dries...BAM! Your hair is packed with volume, fullness, and shine!

The Christmas Penguin!
The Christmas Penguin has the same scent at Sakura bath bomb and Rub Rub Rub shower scrub which is the scent of orange blossoms! Now this little penguin can't get any cuter! It's tiny, blue, and has the cutest little squishy nose and eyes. It's hard not to cry when you cut it up because it's just so adorable. You can use The Christmas Penguin about 5 times or less depending on the size of your bath tub. The bubbles it makes are bright white and durable. Although it does not make a load of bubbles the bubbles last quite a while! When you jump out of the bath water (don't fall!) you skin is refreshed and silky!
If you enjoy morning baths The Christmas Penguin would be a lovely addition. It is energizing and a happy bath! What a better way to start your day than on a positive note! On a scale from 1-5 I am giving The Christmas Penguin a 4. I wish it made a few more bubbles but I would surely recommend you purchase the little fella!
Sandy Santa!!!
Sandy Santa body butter was very requested and I probably wouldn't have bought it if it weren't for you, so THANK YOU!!! I am loving Sandy Santa and the delicious scent of sweet oranges it has! It is gritty and smooth at the same time. The gritty thingies aren't to harsh and not to gentle but just right! I would recommend using Sandy Santa 1-2 times a week. Fortunately, the hat isn't the only exfoliating part either, the whole thing is! Haha if you use Sandy Santa in the bath be sure to use it right before you get out of the water..."Why" you may ask? Well the gritties don't dissolve fast so you bum will get quite the exfoliation, ouch!!!

Fantabulous Friday: Sweet Dreams Rosie:)
Sweet Dreams Rosie is centered around sugar and roses. Relaxing, rejuvenating, and moisturizing. This is the perfect bath to get yourself or your child ready and calmed down to sleep, casting the mindset for perfectly sweet dreams.
For a few bubbles but mostly the scent, take a fair amount of Sweetie Pie shower jelly. Take an old pair of pantyhose and cut off the foot. Place your shower jelly in the toe. Then take a rubber band and secure the partial pantyhose onto the faucet. This will let Sweetie Pie dissolve while giving of an enchanting sugary berry scent and some bubbles. Unfortunately, the bubbles aren't very durable but the scent is too good to pass up!
Now take a piece of your Melting Marshmallow Moment (also know as MMM) bath melt and let it fill your bath water with moisture and a light cotton candy scent! Where are the roses you may ask? They are inside of your bottle of Rose Jam limited edition shower gel! Moisturized skin and fabulous hair await you! I like to use Forever in Bloom retro hair conditioner to follow up because it gets rid of fly-aways. It doesn't moisturize your hair well but you don't need any more moisture after using Rose Jam! If your skin needs a good scrubbing just grab Buffy! She will leave you with smooth silky legs and your pajamas with be that much cozier! You may want to stay in a bathrobe for a few minutes to let the Cocoa and Shea butters sink into your skin. When you wake up and feel your skin you may still think you're in a dream!
I hope you enjoy this bath and let me know if you do on my Instagram @thelushlifexo. Sorry I haven't been posting anything below my blogs recently. I've been a little down and didn't have much to say. But I am ok now that I took this bath lol! Please send some positive thoughts my way and I'll send some your way too! I may add a virtual hug! Love you all! xoxo Mikayla:)

Tip Tuesday!
Tip Tuesday! Have you ever had a product that you LOVED but had a scent that you HATE? It is rare, but it happens. The product is too good to pass up but the scent makes you feel sick. Here's a quick fix to make everything better. Burn a candle! It will cure the scent but you still get awesome effects from the product!

Fantabulous Friday! Smooth Citrus
We all know and hate that mid-winter depression when all you need is sunnier days! Here is a nice cocktail to brighten your mood without making you smell like a clean wooden table. To start off chop a Father Christmas bath bomb in half, it's surprisingly easy to cut it so that you get to use half the face! Snow Globe soap will bring a fruity citrus scent and clean skin! Ice Blue shampoo brings the feeling of crisp chilled hair I mean air!;) To keep the scent and your hair smooth use Forever in Bloom hair conditioner. And if you need to put on a coat of armor against the cold use Each Peach (and two's a pair!) or Therapy massage bar. This bath will give you a calming, refreshing, and positive mood. You will feel your skin thanking you too! Smooth, soft, moisturized, clean, and warm you will be!!!

Seanik Solid Shampoo Bar
Seanik shampoo bar smells kinda iffy. It really smells like you're at the beach next to some seaweed. It foams up nicely and gives a fair amount of volume but it isn't phenomenal. I love that it rinses out of your hair easily. I was able to use it 50 times (I counted) and more but I had a little malfunction... It was sitting in water for a few days and melted A LOT! I do not recommend buying a tin for the shampoo that they offer because 1. It doesn't let the bar dry even if the lid is off 2. The containers are impossible to open especially if it's wet. I am rating Seanik 3/5 stars because it stinks and it makes my hair knotty. There isn't a good way to store them or at least I haven't found a way! Haha:) I won't be repurchasing this shampoo bar but I would like to try others. I think that the whole idea of the solid shampoo is a hate love relationship thing.
What do you all think about the Fond Farewells from Lush? Let me know on my Instagram @thelushlifexo

Rose Jam Shower Gel!!!!
Rose Jam limited edition shower gel is a dream! It smells like Ro's Argan body conditioner and Rose Jam bubble bar which is a soft rose scent. It makes a frothy foam when used with a loofa but doesn't lather much at all without a loofa. For the most gentle and luxurious wash use a washcloth. It transforms your skin to be soft, moisturized, and especially smooth.
If you travel often or need to pack light for the holidays this is a great 3 in 1 product because it is wonderful to use in your hair! It cleans your hair but doesn't leave it stripped. It has the same affect on your hair as it does your skin soft, moisturized, and smooth. It has just enough moisture to help your ends but not enough to make you oily. I use conditioner 1-2 times a week so I don't need a ton of moisture but you might.
Honestly I think that Lush shower gels are over priced and that still applies to Rose Jam. It is a wonderful product but I think a reasonable price is $20-$25 dollars. I am rating Rose Jam limited edition shower gel 4/5 stars because of the price. And I wish it was slightly more moisturizing.

Butterball Bath Bomb
Butterball bath bomb is a very unique bath bomb even though it looks very boring. It smells like cocoa butter, chocolate, and vanilla. It smells like you are drowning in a bath full of hot chocolate with whip cream (doesn't look that way though!) As it fizzes, lots of little chunks of cocoa butter come out and melt. The water becomes very oily and the water on your skin looks like water on wax paper. It is very moisturizing and would be great to use in winters at night. It leaves a residue on your skin so I wouldn't recommend using this anytime except for before bed. It retails for $4.95 and is a small bath bomb. I think it is worth the price though because of the scent, what it does for your skin, and the relaxing qualities of it. I am rating Butterball bath bomb 5/5 stars because it is so unique. The only downside is that you can't wash your hair in the water, but it is still worth it!
* Under all circumstances DO NOT put your hair in the water!!!*
I hope you have a great day and don't forget to leave your requests in the comments on my Instagram @thelushlifexo !

Tip Tuesday!
It's Tip Tuesday again! Is it just me or do the labels on lush products always rub off? I hate when that happens because you need the expiration dates but they always seem to fade. It usually only happens to the "Made by who ever...." A trick to save the label iiiissssss (drum roll please!) CLEAR NAILPOLISH! Take your top coat polish and paint it onto the sticker. This saves the date because it keeps water out and stops any friction that would scratch the print off! Hope this helps you all out!
