Buffy body butter is talked about a lot! It was gifted to me but I probably wouldn't have bought it other wise. I'm glad I can try it though and I am excited to bring good news!
Buffy is extremely harsh but not that exfoliating. The granules of almond are pretty large making you massage it into your skin longer to exfoliate it enough. That generally wouldn't be a problem but it feels like small rocks are exfoliating your skin. Ouch!!! As I experimented with it, I'm starring to love Buffy. The way I made it work with less pain is by taking small pieces and melting them a little bit. I cut off a very small portion of Buffy and I warmed up a small chunk of it by wetting it then rubbing it in between my hands. If you do this it feels so much gentler! I can not stress enough how much I recommend doing this! You are also going to get more uses out of doing this. Buffy isn't just and exfoliater though. The base of the product is made out of shea butter and cocoa butter making it a mega moisturizer. It leaves a residue on your skin for a while do I would use it at night to let it sink into your skin.
Buffy isn't scented much. When I sniff it, it smells like cocoa butter and shea butter to me. This product is surely to pamper you. I don't feel like I am wasting the product either when I slice it up. Haha PLEASE try this trick if you have Buffy and don't like it, you may just fall in love. Overall I am giving Buffy 4/5 stars because I made it work without hurting but I did have to experiment before I was content with it.
I hope that you all have a super duper fantabulous day and that it is filled with happiness:) if not...watch Finding Nemo while you are in the bath and channel your inner fish!!!
